Calamity Response for the Philippines

Through the years, PCCI has always responded to calamities that affect our brothers in the Philippines.  The most recent relief responses had been for been for the horrific Supertyphoon Yolanda (Haiyan) and the earthquake in Bohol.  Through various  fund-raising efforts (meet and greet with Gina Lopez of ABS-CBN Foundation, tshirt printing, personal appeals  and the like), PCCI was able to send in close to $9,000 through AFI, of which $4000 was earmarked for fishing boats for fishermen's livelihood.  Through its various board members PCCI also reached out to specific areas of devastation like Leyte and Bohol, where feeding programs and assistance to either a school or church was done. And a Christmas luncheon in 2014 was also held for 120 students at the ABS-CBN BayaNiJuan relocation village  under the auspices of PCCI.
